Before clicking the Picture in Picture button to add a new video/photo clip, you need to move the Playhead to the position you want to set the picture in picture feature. And then tap the Add Pic in Pic button and select the file you want to add.

Animation of Picture in Picture Video

There are 3 options under the Animation effect. You can choose an Entrance, Exit and the Emphasis to apply on the Picture in Picture video. There are 14 Entrance effects, 8 Exit effects, and 13 Emphasis effects so far. The new Animation work are on their way.

The duration of each animation effect can be set from 0.2s to 2s. Choose the timeline on the Picture in Picture video, and then select the animation effect you want to add.

Chroma Key Effect

Chroma Key effect is also known as Green Screen which can be applied on in many situations. This colour-separation overlay effect can eliminate coloured background which allow the video eding tool to change a video background or make the video much more special.

With FilmForth, you can use the Chroma Key effect to change the video background with great ease.

Step 1. Click the Chroma Key button and then a mini window will pop up, it asks to enable the Chroma Key Effect – Turn on the button on the right side.

Step 2. Select Color – You need to tap on the Color box and you will see the color plate. Now move the circle to choose the color you want to eliminate on the Picture in Picture video.

Step 3. If you are not sure what the exact color you are removing, you can tap on the button besides the color plate. Move the magnifying glass to the part you want to replace where you can see a serial number beginning with the #. Put the serial number to the color plate(there is a box which contains a serial number with # ) and you can exactly get the color.

Step 4. Rectify your video by using the Tolerance slider. Then you will see the differece from 0 to 100%.

Opacity

Video opacity can be customized by moving the Opacity slider in the Picture in Picture video.
