When FilmForth is fully installed, launch FilmForth from the Windows start menu. The left Quick Tools column offers a handy shortcut to rotate videos, click on the Rotate Video button from the Quick Tools section.

Press the play button so you can preview your video from the upper screen.

When ready, click Save Video button, then customize parameters for your MOV videos, and then define a destination path to export the rotated MOV video.

2. How to Rotate MOV Videos on Mac

To rotate MOV video on Mac, the quickest and simplest method is to use QuickTime player on your Mac computer. QuickTime is an extensible multimedia player available on your Mac computer.

  1. First, open your MOV video with QuickTime. If QuickTime is not the default video player for your Mac computer, you have to manually open the MOV video you intend to rotate with QuickTime player. To do so, right-click on the MOV video and select, Open with, then QuickTime.
  2. Go to the upper-right side of the QuickTime player interface, and click on the Edit tab.
  3. From the drop-down list, click on the corresponding options to rotate your MOV videos left/right or flip horizontally or vertically.
  4. Now that the MOV video is already rotated, click on the File tab from the menubar, then click Export as and select the preferred resolution.
  5. Name your video file, define the destination path and choose a video format, then click Save to save your rotated MOV video.
